What is said: I recorded this video once in English. Pick a language and hear the same video in a voice like mine.

What is said: Grabé este video una vez en inglés. Elige un idioma y escucha el mismo video en una voz como la mía.

What is said: Gravei este vídeo uma vez em inglês. Escolha um idioma e ouça o mesmo vídeo em uma voz como a minha.

Demo clip: an AI-generated scene with a fictional character. Dubbed with VDub v2, the model DubSync runs; lip-synced tracks use VSync v2.

Lip-sync shown in these examples is an optional paid add-on, separate from the dubbing trial.

These clips were made in English and dubbed into Spanish with the model the app runs. Play one, then switch between the original and Spanish.

An animated character

  • The character keeps its bright, young voice in Spanish.
  • Music and forest sounds stay under the new speech.
  • Stylized mouths rarely need lip-sync, so a plain dub is usually enough for animation.

What is said: Hi, I'm Pip the Fox. My stories began in one language. Now, children can hear them in their own.

What is said: Hola, soy Pip el Zorro. Mis historias comenzaron en un idioma. Ahora los niños pueden escucharlas en el suyo.

Narration over footage

A narrator never shows their lips, so nothing has to match on screen. This is the simplest kind of video to dub into Spanish: the voice changes and the picture stays exactly as you cut it.

Who you reach

Where a Spanish version can be watched.

Spanish is the language of Spain, Mexico and most of Central and South America, and it is widely spoken in the United States. For a creator, a single Spanish version can be watched across Latin America and in Spain at the same time.

CPM is what advertisers pay, not what a creator earns. Pay depends on where viewers watch, the niche and YouTube Partner Program eligibility. No result is guaranteed.

Before you publish

What to check in a Spanish dub.

A dub can't be corrected word by word, so listen to the result before you post it, ideally with a native speaker.

  • Latin America or Spain

Spanish in Spain and in Latin America differs in accent, in everyday words and in the plural "you": "vosotros" in most of Spain, "ustedes" in Latin America. Listen for which variety you hear.

  • Tú or usted

Spanish separates the informal "tú" from the respectful "usted", and how readily people use each varies by country. Check that the dub's choice fits your audience and your subject.

  • More syllables, faster pace

A Spanish sentence usually needs more syllables than the same sentence in English. Listen for passages where the voice speeds up to keep to your original timing.

Questions

Questions before you start

Which languages can I translate into Spanish from?

You don't choose a source language: the spoken language is detected automatically. You choose Spanish as the language to dub into.

Will the Spanish voice sound like the original speaker?

Each voice is created from the original speaker, so it should sound similar, not identical. Clear speech with little background noise gives the best result.

Which variety of Spanish does the dub use?

There is one Spanish option, with no regional variants to choose from. If a regional audience matters to you, ask a native speaker from that region to listen before you publish.

Can I get Spanish subtitles instead of a dub?

No. DubSync makes a dubbed MP4, not a subtitle file.

How long can the video be?

Up to 150 minutes and 1 GB per file, as an MP4, MOV or M4V.

How is a Spanish dub priced?

By the input minute: the length of your original video, for each target language. You upload first and see the minutes and the cost before anything starts.
